Last time we told you about our notification system for flight's schedule changes - flight supplier/wholesalers can received a confirmation about flight reschedule from their clients/agencies, via special website that we built.
We had such a great success with this module that we decided to push it up a notch and created similar mechanism via SMS!
So this is how it works - once a change is made to a flight, the tour operator can notify the passenger directly to his or hers cellphone via an SMS system. This way the passenger can and will stay up to date regarding any changes about his/her flight.
On top of that, we added the ability for the passenger to approve he/she read the SMS! This way your tour operator can check who approved the SMS and who didn't.
Prior to this release we ran a demo test with one of our biggest client, and we noticed that the new SMS system not only makes things easier for the operators but we also found out that it saves roughly 90% of the time spent on notifying each and every passenger over the phone.
